Maple Spirit Genji

For this project I wanted to honor one of the games that opened my eyes in 2015 and inspired me to work in this industry. It's the last project I've finished. I've had this idea in my head for a while and as a fan of the company, I wanted to make a skin for one of the characters.

My goal was to give a more organic style to the character. Add fantasy and create a fresh and interesting look, similar to the style that the company has with other games in the franchise. This project allowed me to apply everything I knew so far.

I started with an exploration phase, then a more detailed one, I explored different color palettes, and finally I designed the final character along with his weapons.

Pokémon Emerald Adventure Team

During this year, I played Pokémon Emerald again with my GBA SP. Feeling nostalgic I decided to pay tribute to the team that has followed me during the adventure. I've tried to do something different and give each one of them some personality and design, as if they had a purpose in the adventure.

Character Designs Practices

Some characters that I finished during a workshop on early 2024. I had a great experience, I met amazing artists who worked with me. I highly recommend do workshops for those artists who are starting out and want to keep growing.

I was able to rescue and render some of the class work.

Son Goku and more

Like many other artists here, I also saw Dragon Ball when I was a kid. Unfortunately we had bad news this year, his work inspired me and it was a nice way to honor him. I used his classic old design as a reference to create something new.

I also did another project a while ago for another anime that I also enjoyed as a child!

I also designed some characters following the basic character design steps: exploration, color and final design.

The Arm Of War

And finally, a personal project that I developed a long time ago. The idea was to create a warrior who was corrupted and lived by and for battle. Again, I followed exploration phases until finally arriving at the final design. It was a very fun project.
