𝐑𝐨𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐞 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟒 - 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚
I am Cassandra, from Bordeaux, France and I'm a student at ECV. Here's my first participation to the Rookies Awards, with a project i've been doing for the past 2 months. This is my take on Lady Maria from the Bloodborne DLC, i'm happy with the results and hope you will like it !
𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐚 - 𝐁𝐥𝐨𝐨𝐝𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐧𝐞
I'm proud to participate in the Rookies Awards for the first time and share my take on one of my favorite characters, Lady Maria from Bloodborne.
This project was a bit of a challenge for me, since I let myself 2 months to finish it, but i'm happy with the result. It allowed me to learn even more about the 3D character pipeline for games, especially in the texturing part, since it was a first for me to do a more realistic character.
A closer look at the textures
Textures done in Adobe Susbtance Painter, I used some normal maps from Quixel Megascans for the clothes, to enhance the textures I did in Zbrush.

I made the hair in Zbrush using a custom IMM cards brush and following a rough shape I made earlier, and adjusted it later in Maya.
For the textures, I used a software I found on Artstation, Hair Strand Designer, that allowed me to generate multiple maps in high quality for the strands.
Highpoly rendered in Zbrush
For the highpoly, I sculpted everything in Zbrush, even clothes, I tried to do it in Marvelous Designer but couldn't achieve what I really wanted. The whole process of doing the sculpt took me 2 weeks.
