The Wanted - Game Ready Environment Creation
This is my UE5 biome environment game project - The Wanted, undertaken in the first semester of my junior year at Ringling College of Art and Design. The entire project took three months to complete, and I handled all aspects of pre-production design, scene creation, asset development, lighting, set dressing, etc.
Project 1: Environment
I have made all the assets for this game-ready environment. Overall, I've better understood how to create game environments, and my aesthetics have improved.

The entire environment follows a post-apocalyptic theme. To create a believable environment, I referenced numerous real-life photos, including the growth patterns of foliage etc.
I employed various techniques to create the textures. I utilized Substance Designer to craft seamless bricks and dirt grounds. Additionally, I employed real-life images and Substance Sampler to generate textures such as grass and asphalt for vertex painting.
Project 2: Modified Laser Gun
In The Wanted, players must use the modified laser gun to complete shooting tasks and level puzzles. It needs to be charged by removing the front part and plugging the barrel into a charging bar. I used 3x 2k Textures for two materials I applied in UE5. It was my first time creating an animated articulated prop.
