Rock

A rock is zapped to life by an evil witch’s wand and is terrified of her newfound sentience. A chill frog helps her experience the joy of friendship and learn to appreciate life.

The characters Rock, Frog, and Witch went through quite a bit of development over the past year. Below are the turnarounds, as well as the original drawn designs. Translating these characters from 2D to 3D was a fun challenge for the directors.

Below are lighting, compositing, and texturing breakdowns of the the film's sets. Shania and Julia enjoyed developing the look of "Rock", and composed each forest shot uniquely.
