This is my latest character project I've done. The goal was to create a character that's realistic and suitable for game engines. The whole project took about 4 months during which I followed Tomas Sackmann's course, who showed many useful techniques and shared a lot of knowledge needed for character creation. The character has been optimized to work in real-time.

Besides the knowledge gained from the course, I've done something extra. I worked on hair, fur, and feather simulations. Additionally, for learning purposes, I created a character skeleton model and a model with muscles overlaid on the skeleton. I also worked on a logo project and did post-production in Photoshop.

The character I created on my own based on Anastasios Gionis' concept. Throughout the process, I had a lot of fun and learned a ton. My contribution beyond the concept involved adding color compared to the original drawing.The main goal was to create a complete character, going through the entire process from modeling, sculpting, texturing to rendering.

The biggest challenge was the retopology of the character, especially the part with spikes on the back. Renders were done in Marmoset Toolbag and UE. In this project, I also handled the logo design and did post-production in Photoshop.

My first character that I created took me a lot of time, as I was learning and developing new skills along the way. The real challenge back then was every step because each of the programs I used was still quite unfamiliar to me.

I believe I've made significant progress since creating that character. Completing this project reaffirmed my desire to learn character creation. The renders were done in Unreal Engine and Marmoset, with post-production in Photoshop.

The project was different from character design but was recently done for a client's commission. It was my first attempt at animation. The entire project was rendered in the Unreal Engine.
