VOID is a student film created at Escape Studios, Directed by Kaya Akıncı, produced by NOTREVIHC PRODUCTIONS. This project is about a tired girls journey home as she comes across a mystrerious black cat. This project was created by a team of 9, story derived from a comic strip made by Kaya Akıncı 5 years prior.
VOID was created as a third year Univeristy Project at Escape Studios. This project was created by a very talented group of nine that I, as a first time director, was incredibly lucky to work alongside with. This project stemmed from a comic made 5 years ago that was picked up and reimagined to become the short that premiered on 15 Dec 2023.
VOID is a Student Animated Short about a tired girl's journey off the underground, when she spots a black cat on the platform, things start to turn surreal.
