Here my thesis project. I take inspiration by Block722 project Villa Apollon, a Villa placed in on the southern edge of the Greek island of Lefkada.

In particular the creation of a scene representing the interior of the villa, in this case the dining room

The structure located on the hill offers a breathtaking view of the waters of the Ionian Sea and good exposure to natural light.

Built with a play of levels due to the topography of the place, the modern structure blends perfectly with the surrounding landscape, thus making it a complementary element to the scenery that surrounds it.

The materials used recall the surrounding environment.

In fact, there are woods that we find in the finishes of the furniture, doors and fixtures and finally in the ceiling.

Natural stone, on the other hand, is used for flooring both internal and external environments.

We start by putting the floor plan into CAD and then bringing it into the 3D modeling software, thanks to this step it is possible to create our environment perfectly in scale.

Once this is done we can move on to 3D modeling of all the elements needed to create the complete image, from the "envelope", in this case the room we need, to the small decorative elements.

Then we move on to compositing the image by setting up the camera and studying the various elements such as lighting and materials.

Here is the study of the textures and the creation of the final image.

While here are the steps used to arrive at the final image, and the pre and post production result.

Another very important factor for the success of an image is the study of natural lights. In this case I used a dome light with an HDRI.
