As the sun gracefully ascends in the morning sky, it bathes India, an ancient and thriving civilization, in its golden embrace. 'Suprabhat' is an effort to encapsulate the artistry and spiritual richness of Indian mornings. From the timeless verses of the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita to the diverse and vibrant tapestry of life that blankets the land, this short film tries to explore the profound interconnectedness of all living beings. From the oceans to the boundless skies, from the earth to the creatures that share our world, 'Suprabhat' reminds us that we are all threads in the same cosmic fabric. With each morning, this civilization wishes for the well-being and prosperity of all sentient beings, a sentiment that transcends time and space.

The Idea:

The Idea for "Suprabhat" initiated when I came across a beautiful shloka from ancient Indian Scripture- Upanishads, "Sarve Bhavantu Sukinah" (May everyone be happy) , the idea itself although presented thousands of years ago, still provides an insight on the maturity and love of Indian thought and culture which presented such heartfelt wisdom to humanity, which prompted me to capture the beautiful mornings of India, in its spiritual essence, which I believe perfectly reflects the shloka or the theme,"Sarve Bhavantu Sukinah". There's a lot that I learned while making this short, and would continue to do so with my future projects as well.
