León Roy - Rookies Entry

Howdy! 

It is with the utmost pleasure that I introduce you to my children, sprung forth from my effort and passion during my time at Think Tank Training Centre, and presented to you today as a Rookies Awards entry!

First is a creature animation with 3 characters:

The idea came to me after seeing a cute video of a cat with a fish.

The rigs I used were made by AnimProps (Stewart, bird), Agora Community (Little Kitty) and Truong CG (Arowana Fish).

It's so proud.

Next up comes a dialogue piece, again with 3 characters, some of you might recognize the scene:

The audio comes from Pulp Fiction, although that's about the extent of the influence upon the project, most acting choices and story beats I came up with myself as I didn't want to just recreate the scene 1:1, hence the zombie in the backseat.

Fun fact: The audio for the zombie is my own voice!

Rigs are the well known and often seen Malcom from AnimSchool and the David rig by Gonzalo Salas. I am unfortunately not aware where the zombie/ghoul rig is originally from, but can endorse its quality.

I will take this chance to link my full demo reel, it's both of these projects plus it includes one more separate piece at the end.

And that concludes my Rookie Awards entry!
