When I chanced upon this character on Artstation I found the concept of this character very pretty and unique. I also wanted to challenge myself with the amount of detail included in the model. As I am a big fan of Attack on Titan, I thought this would be a fun reference to use.
I sculpted the organic objects in Zbrush and the hardsurface objects in Maya, and I used Marvellous Designer for the clothes. I also used Substance Painter for the clothes and armour textures, and Mari for the texturing of the skin. I decided to make the character slightly softer in appearance as compared to the reference.
For the general aesthetic, face and hair of my character, I am satisfied. However, I would definitely have approached sculpting the rest of the model differently as I realised some ways of approaching it would have been faster, but throughout modelling this I have learnt a lot. The toughest part of this was the texturing of the clothes, armour and weapons.
