The Car and Proceeding Crimes

The process of creating the deer and fox character designs started with doodles from my notebook of a deer going on an adventure, and a little fox with an appreciation for "herbal remedies". 

Next, I had to design the car. Originally it was going to be based off of a Kia Soul, because I thought they looked funny. Eventually I decided to go with an older, sharper design to contrast the round softness of the two characters. I had a hard time nailing down what style I wanted the background to be in, but settled on  a more unnatural purple and blue forest. 

This is the first storyboard I created.
