1# MeetMat - Rocky pre_historic

Actually i start this project in 17th January about 5 p.m. Here`s some of my Refs and thinking to start doing meetMat 3. I tried to keep as simple as i could. That would help me to improve against time, and also save some time to solve problens and learn something new for that ocasion.

Some more exploration here and there to glue all the pieces. 
I add some Details with Substance Alphas (Hands), and the other details i did by hand.

Once i did some more detail paint for the pre historic feeling... i decided that i was Done, not perfect....but done.

i'm gonna render the final images and post the final Result of MeetMat 3 !

Today, (19th Jan) I did the Base ... And i did also all the RoughMaps for the hole Mat.

After That i wanted to bring more details and some color variation...

I put some more details to the body.

And to finish it i wanted to draw something on the "Face", that could reminds a pre historic feeling, something very raw from the ancients civilizations.

In the Second day (18th January), i could work on some more details for the Base Material.

With The BaseMaterial done, i created a SmartMaterial and applied to the Body.
Some adjusts here and there and the body got a cool fit.

The end my first day of MeetMat, That it was in 17th January, i could do the Base Material... 

I wanted somenthing rocky with terracota colors.

When i felt like OK, I Ended the first day...

As soon i did the Highpoly mesh, i took it to SubstancePainter to get the Bake.
As i wanted to work with basecolor through the maps i could get from the Bake, such as Curvature, AO, Thickness, using some masks and handpaint here and there.

After the Bake, just to have a quickly preview of something, I use a Smart Material that i did only for that.

I did a highpoly mesh into Zbrush to get some natural aspects, just like some cracks,noises and trimed egdes.. again, i`m runnig against time so i used some alphas and brushes from Pablander.com and some other free kits to speed up the things a little bit...

Hi, i'm Gabriel Destro, and this is my submission for MeetMat 3.

I started this project yesteday about 5p.m.. i couldn't started it before =S but still want to have my first MeetMat submission challenge registred.

I hope you like my WIPs ! See ya...  

As i need to speed things up , i'm thinking as simple as i can.. But i want something that even simple and quicly could be cool and enjoyable too. So i'm trying to delivery some good Color Base and Roughness textures maps.

As i'm doing this submission few days before the DeadLine... i could see some other Mats from here, honestly after seen so many amazing final renders, i put a smile on my face and wanted to "enjoy this party" too. 
So many inspiring arts coming from the same Mesh is something awesome to see and learn.
