REFERENCES:

For this project I decided to create a "self-cooked" Gingerbread Man for this reason I researched various types of references.

For the sweet part I researched: the classic gingerbread, some smarties as ornament, and a mars chocolate for the base of the man. As I would to recreate a sense of burned cookies I also researched pictures of over cooked cookies.

For the pot and stove part I researched picture of old pots and stove and picutres of ruined and rusted pot.

And for the "cooking glove", as I would to recreate a Christmas mood I researched some picture of cooking gloved with some Christmas theme.

Base Part

Broken Chocolate cookies with caramel - BREAKDOWN:

1. Chocolate - Caramel. I tryed to recreate the materials of the "Mars",

2. Adding some cracked and ruined part to the chocolate biscuit,

3. Linking of the cracked part with the foot of the gingerbread man.

Body Part 1 - BREAKDOWN:

1. Recreating base material of a gingerbread cookies,

2. Adding  ornaments and smarties,

3. Adding ruined and cracked details.

First Render

In this render you can see the first steps of my project. I completed the base part with the broken Chocolate and I start putting the base of the body part with the cookie and smarties material.
