Hello everyone! My name is Brandon and I'm a 3D Environment and Prop Artist working towards a career in the game industry. I graduated from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and since then I have been practicing and learning a lot in my time outside of work. 

I have always loved creating worlds. Sci-fi and fantasy themes are my usual go to when creating art whether its 3D or traditional drawing and painting. The dream for me is to become an environment artist working on exciting games like Horizon Zero Dawn, Dead Space and Ghost of Tsushima.

Game Asset - Mythic Spear

This prop was a project in sculpting class. We were tasked with creating a weapon in Zbrush either from concept or imagination. I designed this asset since I've always loved drawing and designing weapons. I looked to Darksiders and Darksouls for inspiration. I wanted to create something that I would want to find playing a Souls game. Something that looked like it could be wielded by a powerful boss.

I came back to this project in my final term at school and created a low poly in Maya using quad draw for retopology. Afterwards I textured and baked the high poly sculpt in Substance Painter. I created these renders in Unreal Engine 5.


This was a sword I created to accompany the Mythic Spear. I'm gradually building a collection of mythical looking weapons.

Bowie Knife asset for a post apocalyptic environment I'm working on. 

This was the second Unreal Engine environment that I created after graduation. This was inspired by the environments in Dead Space and the Callisto Protocol. It started with the construction light prop that I created to practice hard surface and prop design. After rigging and animating it I created an environment and a sci-fi mining gun.
