Character Design- CONCEPT ART

This tale takes place early in the twentieth century, in a Fantasy world. The main character is a witch and she works as a Researcher.

She’s well known among her colleagues, although nobody has ever seen her in person: she spends her entire time closed in her laboratory testing new spells and reporting the results on manuscripts that are meant to be published by other sorcerers.

She’s particularly qualified in making spells through sigils for little items (usually weapons for adventure seekers and soldiers).

Behind closed doors she practices divination and astrology, often considered less important than other disciplines.

She’s been having a walking stick since a sigil spell put her foot out of action. She knew it could’ve happen, that’s why she chose an expendable part of her body - such as the foot.

She’s an introvert and a coward in every aspect of her life, except for her work: a topic she’s very sensitive about because of the general belief that witches aren’t brilliant enough to give a consistent contribution to the magician society.

Her Laboratory is quite dirty and chaotic, full of dust, cobwebs and residual materials from her spells, which makes her much likely to get sick or to develop side effects because of the left out ingredients from the experiments.
