Game Boy Advance SP
I recreated my beloved Game Boy from childhood in 3D, relishing in the process and experiencing the joy of nostalgia all over again. Enjoy!
Sadly the high resolution textures could not be uploaded in the marmorset file, so you might not be able to see all the detail I painted. Nonetheless, you can still have a look at the model itself and get a sense of the overall design:
I enjoyed incorporating wear and tear, scratches, and fingerprints into the model. It was a fun way to add authenticity and character, giving the model a used look.
The asset was modeled and textured by myself, utilizing CAD data to enhance the details within the normal map.
To make the screen look more realistic, I used the game texture in the emissive channel and added an RGB pixel texture on top. This combination of textures resulted in a visually appealing screen with enhanced realism.
