Tribal Chief, 3D Portrait - from concept
Hi, This is my entry for the Rookies 2023 Challenge. The Tribal Chief officer, of the Agarthian Tribe. I tried surrounding this character with a story, but this character still is unfinished. This is the month long progress, I have made using Zbrush, Blender, and Photoshop to create a milestone for my 3D art.

Here I was testing lighting on the character to see which lighting atmosphere fits well, to get that cinematic render--
Reference sheet, skin, face, body, texture. I used references from Artstation, from artists that inspired me to create this character. Also using my own concept as the base.
Blender Screenshot, with the hair system that I tried with this character-- I was going for more of a old experienced individual look, but also with some inspiration from TV series.
Eye detail, i usually used green and brown shades to make the eyes look appealing, and to glow them. While the outer part of the eye is considered genetically black in this species.
Accessories, including earrings with sacred tooth, used to show a specific position in society above citizens.
blender skin, and roughness node system, used to bring out as much realism as possible.
