Memento

This project revolves around Introducing Memento: The Customizable Picture Book for capturing Precious Memories.

Whether you have embarked on a breathtaking vacation to Greece or want to commemorate your beloved dog's birthday, Memento is the perfect companion to collect, organize, and relive those irreplaceable moments.

Material Exploration

Look development was one of the most interesting and important aspect of the project. Giving a realistic yet stylized look to the different objects was very fascinating. I had a lot of dun exploring different textures and shaders like embossed and engraved book covers, Cake frosting, jute and glossy paper. Lighting played a major role in creating the realistic look. 

Composition

To balance the composition, I added the spherical shapes in the background. This allowed to fill up the excessive negative space and also added a fun element to the design. 

Remains of The Day

The Remains of the Day is a novel based in the setting of royal British mansion in 1989.

The protagonist is the a butler who has devoted his entire life to his profession, with very, very little time to spare for a personal life. This title sequence emphasises on the setting of the mansion portraying the trapped feeling of the Butler in the household as he suffers so many personal losses at the cost of his profession. 

Remains of The Day | Process

I really enjoyed learning to create volumetric lighting and smoke in Cinema 4D, which helped achieve the cinematic look. I was able to execute this using redshift environment object.

Intricacies

As we look at the big picture of our lives, we miss the intricacies that the life presents. From the smallest organisms to the vastness of the universe, everything is interconnected in a delicate and intricate web of life. They remind us that there is always more to explore, more to learn, and more to appreciate in the world around us. This abstract piece is about being conscious of intricacies happening around us and feeling its significance. 

Intricacies | Process

This project is majorly created using X-particles. Most scenes involve manipulating trails in various ways using forces and modifiers which allow them to come into a particular shape.
