The Apron Bag
This bag is the combination between the wearability of an apron and the usability of a hoodie, and the classic detailing of a pair of jeans, creating a multi-pocket crossbody bag in retro red cow leather.
The Apron Bag
In order to create a bag that laid on the body as comfortably as possible, I decided to utile CLO 3D to achieve two goals; test patterns and cut down on time and materials needed for form exploration as well as explore interesting ways to merchandise the Apron Bag.
This bag is the combination between the wearability of an apron and the usability of a hoodie, and the classic detailing of a pair of jeans, creating a multi-pocket crossbody bag in retro red cow leather.
Once I had the bag modelled and detailed with hardware and stitching, I produced high-quality renders that I then manipulated to create a continuous placement print combining the front, side, and back views of the bag. This allowed me to then utilize the graphic function in CLO 3D to create a trompe l’oeil “t-shirt dress” as a creative way to merchandise and promote the bag. This utilized the functionality of the program to its full extent, also considering the metaverse as a possible space to promote fashion and accessories.
