Projects of 2022-2023
I dedicated my year to learning the software and pipelines of asset creation for games. I love creating stylized art, and I am improving myself to become an environment artist. This year has been full of fun and self-improvement. That's why I wanted to share the projects I worked on this year.
Fisherman's House
Tools used: Blender, Zbrush, Substance 3d Painter, Substance 3d Designer, Adobe Photoshop, Unreal Engine 5.
For my first environmental project, I aimed to learn how to create a stylized environment in UE5. This environment is based on a beautiful concept by Eugeny Kazantsev, with the exception of the lighting part which was made by Anıl Akhan. I was able to introduce myself to a wide variety of new techniques, such as RVT, vertex painting, grass and tree shader. I was also able to use my materials from Designer in the environment and incorporate VFX to enhance it.
Stylized Alchemy Chest
Tools used: Blender, Zbrush, Substance 3d Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Marmoset Toolbag.
This is a game ready prop based on Stacy Frantsek's lovely Alchemy Chest concept.
Mayterials 2023
Tools used: Substance 3d Designer, Adobe Photoshop, Marmoset Toolbag.I joined The Club's Mayterials Challenge and completed it with 15 materials that I made by using Substance 3d Designer. These are some of the materials that I made during May.
Stylized Western Fringed Jacket
Tools used: Blender, Zbrush, Substance 3d Painter, Adobe Photoshop, Marvelous Designer, Marmoset Toolbag.
I created this prop for the monthly challenge conducted by Leartes Studios and Marvelous Designer. Fot this project I wanted to focus on creating a game ready prop with Marvelous Designer. It has 16.704 tris. And I won Marvelous Designer special award. Here is my case study that I wrote for Marvelous Designer: https://marvelousdesigner.com/discover/cases/view/126
