My story is set in an alternate universe in which the time period is adjacent to our stone age. The story focuses on two tribes: A human tribe and a merfolk tribe. Each tribe worships a different god. The humans worship the moon god who lives at the top of a nearby mountain. The merfolk worship the sun god who brings them light and power to control the earth’s water resources.
Because the water resources existing on the earth are controlled by the fish family, the human race needs to work continuously to worship the merfolk to obtain the water resources. but one day, the moon god who the humans had been worshiping saves them from their suffering by giving them clean water of their own from the nearby mood god mountain.
But because the humans no longer need to be slaves to the merfolk, a war breaks out and the two leaders of the tribes fight. In the end, the humans are victorious and gain full independence. However, the poorer humans still struggle as they have to climb over the mountain to obtain their water. The merfolk also struggle as their water resources are now depleting.
The royalty of the human tribe live in a palace that symbolises their high power in the tribe, and unlike the poor, they get a constant supply of water from the moon god from the Luna stone located inside the palace.
