Hey!
I'm Isaac Guilà, a motion graphic designer from Barcelona, Spain. I fell in love with this world since the moment I discovered I could create animations from scratch and give lights and materials to my thoughts. It was then that I decided to enroll in FX Barcelona Film School to give it my all to the following projects you will see.

Freework
What is life without color! As a color blind motion designer, you can imagine the fear I feel every time I have to colorize a project. That is why I challenged myself to do a project based on gradients and vibrant colors.
This project is for a supposed website for freelancers. My main objective was to make that little ball feel as alive as possible and animate its way through the video in a seamless way, so that the audience could empathize and feel part of this journey.

Ad Astra / Title Sequence
I always wanted to create a cinematic piece, and I felt this could be my chance. Even though I did not know 3D at the time, I wanted to explore the possibilities still images, textures and composition could give me to achieve a cinematic look.
Aside from the technical approach, I wanted to convey how the movie felt. An epic yet slow journey through space, which is showcased as a wide, empty, cold environment.
This project is fundamentally done with still images, glows, shape layers and the videos from the first shot and the smoke.

Mida's Touch
My first attempt to create a product commercial. With Mida’s Touch, my intention was to show the creation of a new model of an iPhone through an abstract, powerful and creative point of view.
It is divided into three parts that converge on the last shot to reveal the final product; The iPhone, the golden case and the golden bars, referring to its properties and how it is changing the world as it passes.
The main idea is the creation of an elegant yet powerful iPhone with a little reference to the old Greek mythological king, Midas.
The essence of this project was accomplished with Volume Builder and Volume Mesher and the use of Mograph and fields. Everything was done by me except the 3D model of the iPhone.

Cologne Commercial
This was my first time with 3D and this short animation aims to simulate a cologne commercial. Those in which nature itself becomes one with the cologne scent and its properties.
