I began learning 3D art back in 2020 and have be working on my skills ever since. I have a passion for creating 3D environments and props. This collection shows some of my best works and demonstrates my skills in 3D modeling, sculpting and texturing .

Starship Corridor

After playing the Dead Space Remake earlier this year I was inspired to create my own sci-fi horror scene. I wanted to create something original that still felt like it could fit in the Dead Space Universe. I ended up taking inspiration from several different sources to create original designs for the scene. The scene was built in Unreal Engine 5.1 and runs in real time.

Scene Breakdown:

The Planet material is worth noting here. Using blueprints, I created a planet material that has a glowing atmosphere as well as a rotating surface and clouds. The material also controls the planet's shadow, which is not directly lit by the scene. The shadow can be adjusted to any angle through the material instance. This saves on lighting resources within the scene.

Japanese Lake

This is one of the first scenes I built in Unreal Engine. I wanted to practice creating a natural environment with complex lighting. I was inspired by a trip I took to Japan with my Dad and wanted to recreate one of the iconic Torii Gates that appear all across the country. The Torii and the stepping stones were modeled by me using Maya and Zbrush and the surrounding environment was made using tools in Ureal Engine 4.27.

Scene Breakdown:

The landscape for this scene was built using real height data from an actual lake in Japan. I also created a landscape material that applied one of two different ground textures to the landscape based on the slope. More extreme angles would have a rocky surface, while flatter ground had a grassy surface applied.

Kraken Sword

I wanted to practice making more stylized assets, so I decided to make this sword based on the fantastic concept art by Daniel Dimitrov. I modified the design slightly to better adapt it to 3D, but wanted to be as faithful as possible to the original artwork. I also worked more heavily in Zbrush than I usually do to really work in some of the fine details.
