Round of applause for our sponsors

The Milestone:

During a few weeks, I've made with my team a project of world building. The pitch was to create a village of an air tribe. Thanks to Samuel Amar and his priceless feedbacks!

Here is my contribution to the project:

Disco Bouncer:

During this week I had to design someone from the 70's. I learned a lot about character design thanks to Marine Coiffard!

The Sci-fi Farmer:

This week with Félix Donadio was really interesting and I learned a lot about the rendering process.

The Pilot Squirrel:

Taming the proportions of the cartoon style was a really fun exercise. Thanks to Anaïs Lehoux!

Cartoon Gods:

I learned a lot under the guidance of Géraud Soulié. We had to design some mythological gods while respecting theirs attributes.

Knowledge is a key to creativity!

Aktha, the plumed serpent:

This week with Jeanne Plounevez was very cool. Animals are definitively an important source of inspiration. Here I had to design a god-like creature from the jungle.

Speed racer:

Designing with Sci-fi was really changing from my habits but it was a lot of fun and manufactured props are a great challenge! Thanks to Arthur Gorin!

Various VFX:

VFXs were new to me but it were  like creating a candy for the eye, I loved it! Focusing on shapes and colors made me progress a lot in this week with Léandre Teko.

At the end of the week I had to give a complete set of attacks to a given character. It was an interesting exercise to design for a top-view:

Props, props, props:

This week with the amazings Lise Elsgoth and Camille Peyrebere was really fun! Creating a same set of props with various themes was a great way to learn how to make a design more unique.

More props:

In this week with Arthur Gorin I had to create a set of props which obviously belonged to a given character.

Sci-fi corridor:

This week with Aymeric Thevenot taught me how important it is to design each elements on its own before attacking an environment. I liked making this corridor so I share it with you:

Color keys:

I loved doing color keys. Focusing on composition, values and colors without worring about the rest was really relaxing to me. Thanks to Léo Gouvert for this amazing week!

The Gas Station:

Had a lot of fun designing this gas station, I'm not used to design contemporary environment so I learned a lot! Thanks to Killian Sentier!

The Sun Temple:

Exploring a wide variety of moods and compostions with only a few elements in it was eye-opening. Thanks Quentin Regnes!

Gothic roofs:

3D is very useful and I love using it especially when the theme is as complexe as gothic architecture. Learned a lot of way to simplify the process with the great Sacha Veyrier!

The Ruins:

I really pushed my self during this week with Naïm Bonnot.  I've learned a lot about brushwork and a lot of other things!

That's all folks! Hope you did enjoy my work!
