My concept art collection 2022-2023
Hi, my name is Zack. I just graduated from a 2 year 2D illustration diploma course. These are some of the concept art and illustrations I've done in this journey
These are the assignments that I've done in my final 3 semesters of my 2D Illustration course. I tend to like drawing more character designs as well as character illustrations showing the character in a scene with storytelling.
EGYPTIAN FANTASY SERIES
Below here are characters I've design for an egyptian fantasy world. Of course this takes place in Ancient Egypt in the laste 400 BC. I created 3 characters with different body types that would fit in this setting, focusing more on a mixture of cloth as well as armour.
Rak'kar has a wild personality being a former bandit. When he was a bandit, his technique of slashing involves using khopesh in a reverse grip. After joining the king's guard he acquired a modified version of that to suit his fighting style I gave him some gold armor parts to emphasize his king's guard position but not too much so he still maintains his agility and mobility.
Sanura's true personality loves to brag about her jewelry to others. However when she has a job, she covers the jewelry and her tail to not draw unwanted attention. The scorpion tattoo is only known to few high status people and it indicates that she is a mercenary for hire. The breathable clothing as well as her feline agility allows her to endure tough and prolonged jobs.
Aghaast devoted himself to protect one of the relics of Amun-Ra, he locked himself in a buried underground temple along with the relic and became dormant after many centuries. The armor he wears is infused with powerful gems that contain traces of the relic power, his weapon has the all seing eye and a mind of it's own. If the temple was ever disturbed, the weapon will awaken Aghaast once again, to fulfill his purpose in defending the relic.
We also had to create a character splash art showing off one of the characters we've created, I did one for my character Rak'kar

Japanese fantasy character design
The brief was to pick a class and a setting, so I went with a swordsman class and a japanese fantasy setting.
TEAM VALOUR: GROUP PROJECT
We were required to design different modes of transport following the theme of "Sky Pirate". We decided to include an different aquatic animal for all the transports. Here is what I came up with.
That's all I have to show for concept art in my final 3 semesters, hope you enjoy!
