Round of applause for our sponsors

Rider, the last Galactic Grinder, will have to use everything they have learned through years of mastering the now outlawed art of skating, if they are to succeed in saving not only themselves, but the entire galaxy.

A story 9 months in the making

                     Pre-Production

The game's inception came from two simple yet extremly difficult ideas the game had to follow.

1) The game's aesthetics would take precedent over everything else.

2) The game had to be fun to play

                            Production

With pre-poduction completed and a clear visual now in hand, work began in earnest, the first major obstacle was populating our levels with props. The largest challange of this was the fact that each planet other than the black hole, had to have very different environments which meant we could not reuse any of the props from prior planets.

                                  VFX

The VFX of the game had to be something that wouldn't be too noisy, so as to not lose Rider during gameplay, and at the same time elevate the animations, UI, and environment to a whole other level.

                               Shader

As the game had a fundamental idea of aesthetic above all else it was decided early on that we would use a shader to help bring the concepts to life in game.

          Thank you for your time

It was quite an undertaking for a small team of 6 but we are happy with the results and hope you enjoy playing the game as much as we enjoyed working on it. It will soon be releasing on steam but while you wait you can watch a quick gameplay video below.
