The abandoned hamlet
My most recent work featuring a medieval environment that was done after my own concepts.
These renders were done for my final university project. The project focused on creating an environment after my own concept and narrative : a german medieval hamlet that was struck by a deadly illness. The renders showcase nature reclaiming the hamlet after humanity abandoned it. Throughout the project I used various software such as Substance Suite and TreeIt with the aim of always aiming to improve my skills. I wanted to create a very organic scene so I sculpted multiple assets including a tree. Due to the organic nature of the scene I also researched vegetation and ways of creating it for a large scene. Lighting and composition were also topics I was exploring, especially as they helped my scene stand out more. My goal was to not only create a visually pleasing environment but to also tell a narrative through it.

Process Views of each render
The block outs barely helped me visualise the final outcome so I made a few kitbashes to help me visualise the compositions more.
Building Concepts
To plan my modelling process, I created concepts of all the buildings within my environment.
