OUK OOK

Two Cro-Magnons are trying to paint in what seems a cave... but art could be more dangerous than expected.

                                                  Meet OUK, OOK JR. and REXO our characters !

For the animation, we wanted to approach a stop-motion effect, keeping  a cartoon style with straight animations and poses. And create two different styles between the characters to clearly define their opposing thoughts.

The recipe was developed by Léon, using various references as inspiration. For the father he was inspired from Momie in Hotel Transilvania, and for the son, he study an animation from Animawarriors youtube channel.

The goal was to mix the study style (animwarriors) with what seems like a stop motion animation, to increase the “primitive” style in our character, while at the same time have an energetic cartoony animation !
