Reverberations

Oscar Sanabria
by OSCARSANABRIA on 31 May 2023 for Rookie Awards 2023

I present one of the projects made during my apprenticeship at the school "butic The New School" where I have been doing a higher degree in architectural visualization and VR.

Throughout this period, I have had the opportunity to explore the endless possibilities that the CGI world offers, and each job has been an exciting journey of learning and discovery.

This journey has been an opportunity to explore my creativity, expand my technical skills and immerse myself in a world full of possibilities. And as an example I present my first cinematic created in Unreal Engine and based on an abandoned psychiatric hospital. Every step of the process has been a fascinating experience that has allowed me to explore the power of animation as a means of artistic expression.

Looking ahead, I'm excited to continue growing and expanding my horizons in this exciting field, where every project is a blank canvas waiting to be transformed by my imagination.

Software: 3ds Max, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Unreal Engine, Premiere

Every detail has been carefully designed to recreate the oppressive and mysterious atmosphere of this forgotten place.

The idea of the following video is to recreate the experience of being inside the environment by recording handheld camera with a cell phone:
