The Disgruntled Pear

I choosed this character in particular because there was already a lot of texture and color information to work with. I thought it would be a good start for a first full developed character modeling and texturizing project.

The references for the blocking and general shapes sculpt were fat human anatomy and some general elephant shapes. For the second level of detail and texturing I used both elephant and toad skin. The surfacing and texturing work was done using toad color skin and the original concept palette, that was already very rich.
