FN SCAR 20 S
Representation of the FN SCAR 20 S sniper weapon with the new FN ELITY assist device and SCHMINDT BENDER telescopic sight. This project has been carried out during the training as a student of the master of weapons of VOXEL School. The corrections have been supervised by my internship mentor at Secret 6
CREATION PROCESS
The main idea of this project was to learn the latest techniques used for hardsurface modeling. During the development of the project I have used different software:
FUSION 360
Fusion 360 has allowed me to carry out a parametric design that has allowed me to make real-time adjustments to my weapon, speeding up the modeling process.
ZBRUSH
After having the model in high resolution I have passed my model through zbrush to obtain a smoothing of the edges used to make the bake on the low resolution model.
MAYA
Maya has made it easy for me to model my weapon in low resolution and assign materials.UV RIZOM
Rizom has been the software chosen for the generation of UV thanks to its multiple tools, this work has been fast and precise.
SUBSTANCE PAINTER
Once the UVs have been created and the materials have been applied to the different pieces in Maya, it is time to move on to texturing with Substance Painter.
MARMOSET
The last step to finish my project has been to create the scene in Marmoset, applying materials and making the final renders.
