Liminal Hospital Environment
This is a full hospital ward environment, It took around 5 months to complete. The level is fully explorable with opening doors and sounds, and fully game ready utilising PBR workflows.
I'm proud to present my full hospital ward environment, created as my final project for my Game Art degree. It took around 5 months to complete, and I've really enjoyed the whole process. I also learned quite a lot along the way. I chose to do this theme inspired from my past working in the NHS, and because of this I had a nice amount of reference photos as well as the knowledge of the inner workings of a hospital. The overall theming was based on liminal spaces, and so I wanted the atmosphere to be very unnerving and spooky. The map itself is fully explorable, with opening doors, sounds and rain against the windows for a dynamic environment, I love horror games (although I'm too scared to play them) so I wanted to contribute something spooky to the game art universe
