Heart Of The Abyss
Hello, I'm Mickaël and I'm sharing some VFX features from my 3rd year students school project from ESMA/ETPA Video Game.
You can find below some VFX from "Heart of The Abyss".
(Environnement, props and characters 3D modeling, texturing and animation are made by the other members of my team work. I only made my own blueprints, 3D, materials, decals and texturing related to the VFX)
- Player Abilities -
DASH & MOVE
Water, sonic & refraction waves + Sand and bubbles splash
The sand use curve (spline) to change its color as same as the ambient light.
The bubbles follow the player movements and depend on his speed and rotation.
ULTIMATE
Energy & water waves from player + Missil projectil, trail & explosion.
HEAL (partie 1)
Life energy wave from player and particles splash + Growing plantes from ground.
HEAL (partie 2)
Same VFX but with corrupted color and dissolve.
- Environnement -
PLANTE
Giving healing potion
CORRUPTED ORBE
A part of corruption falling from ennemis when hit by the player, purified before touching ground.
It gives ultimate energy to the player.
WALL
A barrier blocking the player path and keep him in a wanted area.
