Witchy Crash

"Witchy Crash" is the first 2d animated shortfilm produced by a small group of Europe DigiPen students.

An ambitious witch wants to invoke a powerful dragon as her new pet. However, her current pet, a chubby and grumpy cat, will try to sabotage the spell to not be replaced.

As a team we wanted to create something fun and easy-going, a cute piece of media that we could as well enjoy while producing. For that, we went for a very adorable cartoonish style, with pastel colours and light textures, creating a funny and endearing short story. In this short journey we all explored together the hardships of a production, and reaffirmed our love for 2d animation.
