Holo Corp is intended to be an engaging and fast-paced boss-fighting game, to which we have added mechanics that make it unique and stimulating. Initially, we went for a two-player cooperative game. Then we added asymmetrical gameplay, with players having to alternate roles regularly. We wanted to emphasize the cooperative aspect by developing two interdependent but very different roles for our players.
For the universe, we first chose Cyberpunk which justifies the possession aspect and the Mech, reinforcing our gameplay choices. We added a Judeo-Christian influence on top of that in order to create a boss and an environment that feel original and intimidating.
