A summary of my work as a 2nd year student at Bellecour Ecole following the 2D animation bachelor program. I focused on layout and backgrond as I thoroughly enjoy designing them.
Layout of a dodgy street leading to a even dodgier theather. Heavily inspired by the backgrounds of The Triplets of Belleville (Les triplettes de Belleville). I did the two flat thumbnails in order to find interesting elements for the theather's facade.

A family versed in the druidic arts. The aim was that each character should have its own uniqueness while the lot of them should share some similarities.
Character design from self-caricature. I made myself look like a Disney vilain. Especially, I took great inspiration from Madame Medusa.
