Hi everyone, I am Jordan Escalante, below you will find my first projects done at Skyup Academy.
THE AUTUMN DRAGON
"The autumn dragon" is my first 3d sculpture project at Skyup Academy.
The model was done entirely on Zbrush, rendered on Maya 2023 with V-ray and was prost produced on Photosop.
Below are the final renderings of the project.
During the digital sculpting model, they assigned each of us students a different concept to replicate.
Below you will find the reference (made by Sandara) from which I created my work.
In the following PureRef there are references of dragon anatomy and various textures used to recreate the skin of the dragon and leaves.
In these progressive images you can see the various steps of the modeling fase. I started with the Zspheres to have a basic structure, then I moved on to modeling and sculpting the dragon in detail, to finish with the final pose.
THE WINTER SPICED LEMONADE
The "Winter Spiced Lemonade" is my first photorealism project at Skyup Academy.
Modeling was done in Maya, texturing in Substance 3D Painter, and rendering with V-ray.
Main reference
I started by researching several references for the project, as shown below in the Pureref.
Then I set the camera to reproduce as closely as possible the photo.
Once the camera was set up i did the blocking of the modeling to its final stage on Maya and Zbrush.
After that, I prepared the UVs for the texturing on Substance 3D Painter, where I worked on the color, the roughness, the displacement and the normals of the project.
Completed the texturing on Substance 3D Painter, I imported the materials on Maya to give the final touches through the Hypershade.
Lastly, I set up the lighting and then I proceded with the render on Vray.
The post production fase was done in Photoshop.
Kenny McCormick
Kenny McCormick was my first project on Substance 3D Painter.
for this mini project I researched the materials and references to make the Meet Mat
In particular, i took care of the base color, the roughness and the displacement
These are my first projects done at Skyup Academy.
