I'm excited to share a small glimpse of the images I crafted during my first year at Yrgo. It has been a year of continuous learning and striving to give my best to every project. Now that I have had time to process and absorb all the knowledge I've gained, I look forward to elevating my work even further.

URBAN ARCHITECTURE

This project offered an exciting collaboration with Pixelflakes, working on an authentic project situated in the cultural heart of Kirklees in Huddersfield. The objective was to thoroughly engage with the provided information and carefully select a camera angle that would effectively showcase the buildings. After careful consideration, I decided to focus on the gallery and the stairway leading up to the square. My intention was to capture an authentically British atmosphere, utilizing the crisp morning light to infuse the scene with a cool ambiance. This choice was made to beautifully contrast with the vibrant yellow stone used in the model, enhancing its overall visual appeal.

Included below are process views that offer a comprehensive insight into my creative journey, showcasing both the 3D and post-production stages.

THE VILLA

The goal of this project was to create a precise design of a villa using provided DWG files and position it within the Swedish landscape. I decided to go with a classic Swedish villa style, incorporating terracotta roof tiles and a vibrant green wooden plank facade to introduce a pop of color. To blend harmoniously with the natural surroundings, I aimed to evoke an early fall atmosphere. Reflecting on the process, I'm genuinely pleased with the progress I've made throughout this project.

The process view below encapsulates my journey, starting from the initial thought of "I'm finished, there's nothing more to be done" to reaching the final stage. It highlights the profound impact that changes in lighting and vegetation can have on the overall aesthetic.

THE CHAIR

The objective of this project was to create a model of the Shell Chair by Hans J. Wegner based on reference pictures, while also designing the surrounding space. The process presented several challenges, with the most time-consuming aspect being the modeling itself. However, the material proved to be the most difficult part. Although it was my first attempt at utilizing UV unwrapping in 3Ds Max, I persevered through trial and error and eventually grasped the significance of this tool and how to use it effectively. To enhance the chair's aesthetics, I aimed to create a room that would complement its shape. As a result, I chose to surround it with intriguing geometrical shapes that add visual interest.

Below, you'll find a close-up view of the material used as well as wireframe images of the model.

That concludes the first chapter of my arch viz journey, and I hope you share in my excitement for what lies ahead.
