Balerion was one of my main projects during this final year of studying animation at Duncan of Jordanstone College of Art & Design. The original concept was created by the talented SioSin who was kind enough to let me use their design for my model.

The goal was to create a model in the same style as dragons seen in Game of Thrones and House of the Dragon so that it could theoretically fit in with a game or production using this aesthetic. It was a challenging and educational experience as this was my first time modelling a complex creature like this, however I am extremely pleased with the final outcome and look forward to working on similar creatures in future projects.
