Plagued Venice
In this project, I focused my attention on shader creation and materials, recreating a street in Venice I'm very familiar with in Unreal Engine 5.
Arlecchino
While working on the Venetian project, I also decided to add in a traditional Venetian character, the Arlecchino di Goldoni. This character is tragic, but always manages to live the harshest situations with a laugh and manages to make the best of them. So I inserted him into a plagued Venice.
And yea, I focused on his textures, using a bit of shaders to give his clothing some interesting microdetail
Canister Loaded Flamethrower
I had a lot of fun studying how flamethrowers work, creating a weird flamethrower loaded with singular canisters to ideally fire in bursts.
Staying in theme with the previous project, I focused mostly on Textures
Slipways
I was the only artist and tech artist on this high adrenaline game with other 5 people. Managed to really dig my teeth into tech art in this one, and it was nice to try out a new thing over the semester
Ancient Hummingbird
On a suggestion by one of my lecturers, I decided to make a more colorful project, focusing on ancient South and Central American cultures for inspiration creating this mix of tech and magic.
Once again, textures and shaders were the central point of focus for me
