GAME OVER, TRY AGAIN?

A photo-realistic render, one of my school projects in Media Design School. The goal here is to achieve a close result of a photography that i took myself. Not only replicating a photo, but this render contains a story. 

"Which one is the CG?" is usually the measurement of my success in replicating real world materials. By comparing the photograph and the render, it becomes a fun challenge to get people guess which one is which. 

This is the setup, everything were measured as accurately as possible. From Modelling to Lighting, everything had to be measured replicating the real photographic environment. 

It is quite a fun long progress to combine every elements. From modelling, Camera match, Surfacing/Texturing, Lighting, and Compositing. It took 2 weeks to accomplish everything in digital.
