Sekyzan's portfolio

Here are some artworks I choose for my portfolio, the two first pictures were taken in blender and represent what I normally do in 3D. In the first one, I created a nice safe place that seems cozy and calm, a sanctuary. The second one is showing an aquarium I made. I used as a ref, a skin weapon in Valorant (the Neptune one).

The third artwork was made in Illustrator, it's a poster for a song made by Beyonce, I used the 3D tool I learned recently to show how the song feels to me.

The fourth one is from an exercise I had to do in school, we had to draw from a ref a realistic 3D chest. It was my first realistic digital drawing on photoshop and it was pretty cool.

The fifth and sixth are posters I made on photoshop. The first one is for the anime Tokyo Sink 2020 and the second one the song After Dark.

The following one was made in photoshop too, I had to make an object of a skull, I choose to make it a planet. I think it's interesting to see it as a metaphor for Earth but after our humanity's journey, what we're going to be left after us. 

After the skull, we have the samurai I drew in school, I had to make a samurai and everyone choose men with armor, I had to take women because there is so many refs of women who were samurai, either in mangas or books and even some engravings. I tried to make her the center of the drawing, I don't draw many backgrounds, but I wanted it to highlight her, not replace her. I made her on Procreate.

The next one is the first concept art I did for an original character I created. I loved making her cartoon like design. She is simple but that's a style is liked a lot. I made her on Photoshop.

The final artwork is the only one that is not digital, I wanted to add one of my favorite drawings. I tried to create a character from a manga (Tokyo Revenger). I really enjoy black and white drawings so it was really nice doing it.
