Puppensicht

An orphan sculptor used his carving skills create a mother puppet and pretend it is his mother to feel affection.

I wanted to create the creepy feeling for this IP, and also mix with the Asian historical fantasy theme. When during the research for the orphan sculptor, I find out Chindon'ya, a Japanese marching band. I like the way they carry their musical instruments, it is very interesting and really inspire me. I try a lot sketches to make the sculptor silhouette interesting and memorable.

The mother puppet created by the sculptor entrusts his fantasies about his mother. He want to feels the feeling about affection. The mother puppet posed ready to hug, so sculptor can hug his "mother" when back to home. However, he sculptor skills good enough to carve puppet hands and body, but not the leg. He can only hang the puppet and keep practice to carve the legs, so his "mother" can stand properly one day.

Mutants

A collaborative concept design project done by Bolele with post apocalyptic steampunk theme.

This is the a story about human use technology to create mutants which can follow human orders. However they crossed moral boundaries, experimented with children. Some of the people continued be evil, some not. Their conflicts cannot be reconciled.

Pitia

The first stylize project I've try. It's very challenging and fun.

The story is about Pitia, a cocky wizard from Amazon Forest . She went to a remote place and study magic by herself. One day, she meet a timid and clumsy rabbit, Tabbit. Tabbit lost in the forest and taken by Pitia.

Environment

 Some environment art complete during study. It is really interesting and fun to do when thinking how to use a piece of environment art to tell audience the world looks like.
