Interior Design 4 [Co-Living Design ]

The objective is to create a Co-Living space for Tesla at Ruang by Think City, located at 2, Jalan Hang Kasturi, City one Centre, 50050 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The Co-Living space comprises four floors and a basement, with each floor having an approximate built-up area of 6,531 square feet.

MOVING THROUGH ELECTRICITY 

I took inspiration from Tesla's innovative devices and their functioning while selecting an idea for my project. Tesla is a renowned company known for its electric vehicles and environmentally friendly products in the automobile and energy industry. I extensively studied the concept of electricity, which serves as the primary source of power for all Tesla products.

To put it simply, electricity is composed of electrons, which are the basic building blocks. These electrons are found within atoms, the fundamental units of matter. At the center of an atom, there is a nucleus containing protons and neutrons. Protons carry a positive electrical charge, while neutrons are uncharged. Surrounding the nucleus, there are different orbital shells or layers, which act as the flight paths for electrons. Electrons follow these orbital routes, and their negative charge is attracted to the positive charge of protons, which keeps them in orbit.

The flow of electric charge, known as an electrical current, generates electricity. The movement of electrons creates magnetic fields, which in turn leads to the production of electric charges. When charges of the same type are brought close together, they repel each other, forming distinct magnetic field paths. On the other hand, when opposite charges are in proximity, they attract each other, resulting in separate magnetic fields. These interactions give rise to various wave lines.

Moving forward, the concept behind my project revolves entirely around the flow of electricity. The design incorporates circular forms representing the orbits of electrons, emphasizing their movement. Additionally, it also incorporates the concept of electrons flowing within magnetic field waves or lines. These elements are combined to create something that alludes to the way Tesla moves through electricity.
