Environment game art projects
Here is a selection of the recent projects I have worked on over the months. Some feature projects created for my university, others are personal projects I have worked on in my spare time.
Steel Factory- Mobile
Steel Factory project I worked on, optimised for mobile. This is my top down mobile project that I did at uni. I had 6 weeks to complete the project, and my poly limit was 300,000 tris, and we couldn't go over 1k for the texture size. I ended up using only 75,817 polygons, less than a third of the limit. I chose a steel factory for my project, because a lot of the assets would be easy to model within 6 weeks.
Greek Helmet- Personal Project
Personal project I've worked on in my spare time. Optimised for a VR experience for Unreal Engine.
Polys- 52,159
Texture size- 2048 x 2048
Old Fashioned Camera
Personal work, I did in my spare time. Took significantly longer than my previous project, due to how difficult it was to make a good render for the camera in Marmoset. This ultimately forced me to use the model and textures present in Unreal, and light up the camera within the engine itself. This provided a pretty good outcome, although I would have preferably wanted to use marmoset, for a much more detailed render.
