Game Girl

For the OUTPUT Open Call, I created a fun avatar with a strong focus on fashion, drawing inspiration from the Y2K theme. The design features boots inspired by the Gameboy Color, which led me to name this project "GameGirl." The overall look aims to evoke a sense of joy and childhood memories, while emphasizing the importance of fashion in its portrayal.

In my creative process, I consistently begin by creating a moodboard or establishing a general aesthetic before diving into the concept sketches. This approach allows me to lay the foundation and gather visual inspiration, ensuring a cohesive and well-thought-out concept for my projects.

To create the avatar, I utilized a basemesh from Daz3D as a starting point. Grooming and adding accessories were accomplished using Blender. For the boots, I employed kitbashing techniques with hardsurface assets. The outfit was crafted using Marvelous Designer, and all elements were textured in Substance Painter, resulting in a cohesive and detailed final design.

As a winner of the open call, my work was prominently showcased on screens in Tokyo, New York, and Beijing, offering global exposure. The videos were created by the OUTPUT Team utilizing my avatar files.

Cybercouture

"CYBERCOUTURE" is a digital fashion collection that emerged as my graduation project from university, seamlessly blending art, fashion, and technology. It aims to push the boundaries between humanity and machinery, exploring the convergence of these realms. By challenging traditional fashion norms, the collection endeavors to evoke a deeper awareness of past and future concerns while transcending the limitations between the physical human world and the digital realm.

In my fashion design process, I utilized early AI technology to generate a foundational base for my sketches, providing me with abstract shapes and colors as a starting point. Building upon this, I proceeded to sketch out various outfits inspired by the imagery generated by the AI, allowing for a unique and collaborative approach to my creative process.

After completing the outfits and characters, I delved into creating animations that showcase each design within a suitable environment. Through these animated presentations, I aimed to bring the designs to life and provide a context that enhances their visual appeal and narrative, further enriching the overall experience for viewers.

Icy Denim

The creation process involved exploring a variety of fabrics to design the outfits. I experimented with different textures, patterns, and materials to bring a diverse range of visual and tactile experiences to each garment.

Aura Form

This outfit was created specifically for the Zero10 Open Call. Drawing inspiration from the concept of an aura, the uniform captures the essence of repelling and attracting different energy layers and colors through a captivating gradient. The overall aesthetic aims to evoke a sense of dreaminess and mystery, adding an element of intrigue to the wearer's appearance. The texture animation is done by PPPANIK.
