2023 My 3D Modeling and VFX Journey
Here is a compilation of 3D Models, Animations and VFX I made throughout the year (VFX not composited so I assumed I was meant to post it here instead). I improved a heap over last year and am pretty happy with where I am currently. Sorry for the Vimeos but doesn't look like YT shorts are supported.
Katana
I decided it would be time for me to do some more projects for the rookies awards. I decided it would be a good idea to remake the katana I made a while ago as it was one of my favourite projects and I knew it was in need of a remaster. I touched up some of the models as it needed some reworks, almost fully reUVed it as they were bad, fully retextured and rerendered.

Sihil from The Witcher
I wanted to work on a sword from The Witcher (one of my favourite books and games), recently had a character in the book mention a sword called 'Sihil' and noticed there weren't any 3D renders of it so decided I would take it into my own hands. It isn't a 1-1 to the reference because I decided to add some creative freedom to make it more to how I wanted it to look but I think this was one of the better projects I have ended up working on as of late. 10000 Tris, quite high poly but I wanted to retain as much detail as possible.
Old Lantern
I made a lantern 2 years ago and decided it was a pretty good basis for a rework so remodeled some parts, fully reuved, retextured and rerendered it all (brought out of maya and into marmoset) which gave it a good true render unlike what I had before.
Desert
I always enjoyed making environments in blender so I picked up World Creator to take my environments to the next level, here is a desert I made.
Abstract Forest
Decided to dabble into some abstract rendering and made this cool floating design
