3D Environment Art
Works created within my Junior and Senior years of college while pursuing a BS in Game Art & Animation.
THE MUSHHOME
Welcome to the Mushhome! Inspired by my love of colorful mushrooms & fairy house, this project was created over the course of 5 weeks by modelling in Maya, handpainting textures in Photoshop, and rendering in Marmoset.
ARTIST'S BEDROOM
**This environment is based on this artwork by Vlada Evtushenko**
After creating the Mushhome, I wanted to continue to develop a stylized workflow, which is demonstated here in the Artist's Bedroom. This project was created over the course of 7 weeks by modelling in Maya, handpainting textures in Photoshop & Substance Painter, and rendering in Unreal Engine 5.
This piece, as well as the Mushhome, was created with weekly critique from a small class of environment artist students as well as critique from an industry professional.
VIKING CABIN
Previous to the two stylized pieces, I worked in a more realism-based style to create this Viking Cabin. This project was created as a final for a 3D environments class over a period of 8 weeks & was assembled in Unreal Engine 4. Textures were created in Substance Painter & Designer. Certain set dressing elements (all foliage except the trees; the fish, & the pitchfork) were pulled from Quixel Megascan or CGTrader. I also used photogrammetry to create the fallen log!
