Solar Eclipse Necromancer x Cyberpunk Wolverine

This is my mid-term project made in 4 weeks. I had to choose a concept I like and make it in a game ready version.

Concept made by Gengye Wu for Diablo Immortal. It represents the Necromancer from the Solar Eclipse cosmetics in his male version.

High poly has been made on Zbrush and it tooks me about 20 days to finish the character and the weapons.

Retopology is actually low enough to go on a mobile phone but could have been better. However I decided to increase a bit the quality so it still have a good rendering to show off.

For texture, I'm used to mask every different material on different base color, add every details of texture and start tweaking everything.

This project has been made in 6 weeks to learn to use different new softwares as Marvelous Designer, ZWrap, FiberMesh and Marmoset.

The concept has been made using Midjourney for first concepts and redone by myself on Photoshop. I had to take an actor as reference for the face and decided to take Mads Mikkelsen.

Everything have been made on Zbrush except the coat where I tried out Marvelous Designer.

The high poly character took me about 4 weeks and I really struggled on the face because it was the first one I've ever done, but I finally find it really decent.

For the retopology and UVs, I had a limit of 400k tris for the character and his hair and 4 UVs set. However we cannot say it is optimized that much and it could have been way better.

Hair have been made with FiberShop and placed on the mesh using Mash on Maya to save time.
