Le Cycle des Teh-Ima

A young mother undertakes a team quest with her team in order to find her son mysteriously disappeared years ago, while he will have grown up in the midst of a people so feared by the village.

Concept for an animation film in stop motion. It is an all public adventure film.

My project deals in particular with the importance of traditions within a people but also with their dangers. Within the adventure, the mother who is the main character will meet mysterious creatures with an amazing way of life, who will probably be able to save them from the dangers that weigh on this village with ancestral traditions.

My main references are the films Laika like Kubo and the two strings or Missing Link. I also love Henry Selick’s Coraline and Tim Burton’s films with a special appeal for stop motion films. I also wanted to create a magical film with inspirations for the creatures I draw from Pinnochio by Guillermo Del toro.
